LCD Systems is able to provide customers with a wide range of custom displays and modules. These include 7 segment, dot matrix, and graphic. Displays can be made in many shapes and sizes -- square, rectangular or polygon -- to fit your bezel or case. We can "build-to-print" or assist with the engineering of your custom design. LCD Systems manages the entire process from design through production. We continue to assist you through evolutionary changes as required.

  • Seven Segment Displays

Seven segment displays are widely used in most hand held applications. Seven segment digits can display numbers, as well as simple icons like a plus or minus sign, a battery symbol, and temperature indicators such as C and F.

  • Dot Matrix Displays

Dot Matrix displays are capable of showing a full alphanumeric character set, 0 through 9 and A through Z. Individual dot matrices can be either 5 x 7 or 5 x 8; each matrix is separated by a space.

  • Graphic Displays

LCD Systems can manufacture a graphic display to your requirements. We can give you the exact horizontal and vertical pixel count for your application. Pixel size will be modified to fit the specified viewing area.

  • Custom Modules

Custom modules consist of an LCD and a PCB with drive electronics. These are normally connected utilizing an elastomeric connector and held together with a metal bezel. For those applications where space is at a premium a heat seal connector is used to connect the LCD display to the PCB.

  • Twisted Nematic (TN) and Super Twisted Nematic (STN)

TN displays are the economical choice for low-cost and hand-held applications where the display is easily rotated by the user to obtain the best viewing angle. They are normally used in applications of 1/16 duty or less.

STN displays have a wider viewing cone and better contrast than TN displays. They are normally used on rack mounted, wall mounted, and graphic displays. STN is normally used in applications of 1/16 duty or above.
